That has had me puzzled as well. By all rights, the free pages created in the first run should be re-used during the second run, and so forth. The only time that would not be the case, would be if there was a open transaction holding back garbage collection. But, from Gary's postings, we see that OAT is moving as it should. It appears that the free pages from the dropped tables are not being re-used. Sean |
