Hi Steve, I have just successfully installed DDEX I installed version 2.1.0.0 on a new laptop/new install for VS2008. I use this as a guideline: http://blog.vyvojar.cz/jirka/archive/2006/02/19/7471.aspx When you edit the FirebirdDDEXProvider.reg (step 5), you not only need to change the path, but also have to change the version number from 8.0 to 9.0 (I did a search for "\8.0\" and replaced with "\9.0\"). For some reason the gacutil.exe doesn't seem to be included in the 2.1.0.0 download but I had it on another PC so I could verify with that to sync the version and PublicKeyToken in the machine.config. Hope this helps. Kevin -----Original Message----- From: fir...@li... [mailto:fir...@li...] On Behalf Of Steve Faleiro Sent: Monday, August 18, 2008 7:33 PM To: fir...@li...
