I'm porting/reimplementing Yaffil built-in functions.
They have NVL, with I was going to make equal to COALESCE.

Oracle have NVL, and empty strings in Oracle IS NULL.

NVL is not stardard, so maybe we can make it consider empty strings as 
nulls.
