[Firebird-devel] Larger name length for indexes, tables etc -> "Name longer than database column"

Hello,

I'm trying FB 2.0 Beta 2, to see if it can replace Interbase 7.5 (for 
cheaper multi cpu support, same of better performance, and just for fun).
When I try to create a database with the script we use for our internal
database, I get an error:

"Name longer than database column"

Seems IB 7.x has a larger column length support than FB!
For example: long stored procedure names, long st.proc parameter names, 
long index names, etc.

Can this be fixed for FB for the current (2.0) or next (3.0) version?

(I searched but could not find it as wish/proposal before)
