Hi. Recently a change was made to v2's gbak to prevent accidental overwerwriting of the database from the backup when restoring. However, the message wasn't changed: F:\fb2dev\fbbuild\firebird2\temp\debug\firebird\bin>gbak -r pavel.fbk pavel.fdb -v gbak:opened file pavel.fbk gbak: ERROR:database pavel.fdb already exists. To replace it, use the -R switch gbak:Exiting before completion due to errors I'm using already the -r flag! :-) What should the message say instead, use the -R O switch? Sounds strange. Better I think, "use the -REP switch". C. -- Claudio Valderrama C. Consultant, SW developer. www.cvalde.net - www.firebirdSql.org |
