Latest update: RH 9 with all the latest updates, Apache 2.0.48, PHP 4.3.4, non
persistent connections, FirebirdSS completely recompiled under RH 9. Same
results as before: Firebird issues the usual message and, luckily, dies a few
minutes later:
---/opt/firebird/firebird.log-----------------------------------
comparetti01 (Server) Fri Mar 12 21:34:15 2004
Database: /home/for.gdb
internal gds software consistency check (invalid SEND request (167))
comparetti01 (Client) Fri Mar 12 21:40:50 2004
/opt/firebird/bin/fbguard: bin/fbserver terminated abnormally (-1)
----------------------------------------------------------------
MRTG does not report any unusual amount of TCP connections to port 3050 in any
state, neither ESTABLISHED, nor anything else. To know what happened, please
refer to my previous postings as recompiling FirebirdSS and updating to lastest
Apache and PHP didn't change a thing.
Any point of view would be really appreciated.
