[Firebird-devel] Understanding sources

Hi
I have started studying the sources. I managed to convert the sources to a
regular MS Visual Studio project and now I am able to use the debugger to
help me understand, BUT is there any other\additional way to have a faster
understanding, like a general overview of the main techniques used, for
example for communication, database file structure, functionality per source
etc? People that already work in Interbase/firebird what they did to
undestand the sources and be able to improve or change them?
