Bugs item #509988, was opened at 2002-01-28 18:11 You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109028&aid=509988&group_id=9028 Category: utilities gstat, gfix, gsec Group: Feature request Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Sean Leyne (seanleyne) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Option to ignore constraints Initial Comment: InterBase (and Firebird by inheritance) doesn't check validity conditions when they're added. The result is a database if then backed up, can't be restored. There should be a GBAK option for restoring data without regard to any constraint, thus salvaging the data. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109028&aid=509988&group_id=9028 |
