[Firebird-devel] rm -rf /opt/interbase

We are currently switching from InterBase to Firebird. I've downloaded Beta2
from firebirdsql.org site, Classic Server version. I look into instalation
scripts and found that it removes some data in /opt/interbase but it also
makes a backup. But I didn't notice that it also removes all files in
/opt/interbase. I proceded with instalation, stopped IB server and began
upgrade. When instalation script asked for SYSDBA password I felt rather
strange. When I looked into /opt/interbase I noticed that whole
/opt/interbase dir was removed. Unfortunatelly all my databases where in
/opt/interbase/bases ...


Now I trying to restore all deleted data. But I think that instalation
script should print any warning before deleting anything on disc. Could you
change scripts to avoid such sitiuations ?
