This can still be done by changeing some of what is now FB_MAJOR_VER and 
FB_MINOR_VER to ISC_MAJOR_VER and ISC_MINOR_VER.  In this way if these 
values were used to set dll versions then they would come out as 6.2 etc.  

David, is there anything other version checking other than dll versions 
that are specifically used in the install?

I think that's probably going to happen eventually anyway, the interbase 
one will remain much the same, but if we change dll names, registry 
settings etc we will evolve and change a bit I suspect, are they complex 
to maintain as seperate?
