Hi there,
Fire's dock menu seems still kind of cluttered to me. What do you think about Interface changes like these?
In the Dock-Menu part "Accounts":
- The text seems really long. Especcially when accounts are offline only some text "(offline)" appears at the end of the account name which is very hard to spot.
I think it would be much clearer to have a checkmark in front of the text as you would see the status in one look, rather than reading the whole line first...
- I would argue for killing the submenu there and instead put a new choice "Edit accounts..." in there or leave it out completely, as it's not supposed to be used that often.
- Something I am not so confident about: Do you think that putting service Icons in there would help find the right service easier? Right now I have about 7 services listed in there and it takes me quite some time to spot the one I want to find. If this Icon could replace the name of the service a line belongs to this could also help to shorten the menu. But I fear that it would interact poorly with the checkmarks and I think those are way more important.
What do you think?

It has to be possible as at least iTunes does it.

While adding it to the preferences would be nice I would be opting for either killing it completely or having that "Edit accounts..." only show up if the existing "extended dock menu" pref is activated.

Well this one isn't that important so this wouldn't really hurt.
