I tried again today, but get exactly the same =20 error. Then I tried to install another module, a completely different =20= one, and it errored out with: ___ Err http://bindist.finkmirrors.net 10.4/release/main io-string-pm 1.06-1 Could not connect to bindist.finkmirrors.net:80 (204.152.184.197). =20= - connect (60 Operation timed out) Failed to fetch http://bindist.finkmirrors.net/bindist/dists/=20 fink-0.8.1/main/binary-darwin-i386//libs/perlmods/io-string-=20 pm_1.06-1_darwin-i386.deb Could not connect to =20 bindist.finkmirrors.net:80 (204.152.184.197). - connect (60 Operation =20= timed out) E: Some files failed to download ### execution of /sw/bin/apt-get-lockwait failed, exit code 100 Failed: Downloading the binary package 'io-string-pm_1.06-1_darwin-=20 i386.deb' failed. ___ which is starting to get annoying. :( Jim said: > When I formerly had this problem, years ago, I would copy exactly =20 > the tetex-texmf_3.0-1_darwin-i386.deb and do a Google search for it. I did that, Jim, and brought up another person with exactly the same =20 problem, plus the fink archive browser: http://bindist.finkmirrors.net/bindist/dists/fink-0.8.1/main/binary-=20 darwin-i386/text/ which won't load ... it times out. So I don't know what to do. :( I've joined fink-beginners. It doesn't look like my problems are =20 going away, and they're not FC's. Thankyou for your help, both of you. :) from Clytie (vi-VN, Vietnamese free-software translation team / nh=C3=B3m = =20 Vi=E1=BB=87t h=C3=B3a ph=E1=BA=A7n m=E1=BB=81m t=E1=BB=B1 do) http://groups-beta.google.com/group/vi-VN |
