A graphical dependency browser would be a cool thing to have in FinkCommander. It could be formatted like a genealogy tree browser (with children/parents etc.. except of course that there can be many parents), and could let you view entire heirarchies at once.

You could build the tree yourself, or there are CLI tools to do this that you could parse, like:

masanori's fink-shlibdeps
Max's dpkg-shlibdeps
apt-cache showpkg PACKAGENAME (shows all reverse dependencies in a list)

    dpkg-shlibdeps is included with dpkg.

    Masanori posted a URL to his utility on the mailing list a while back, search the archives.
