I've implemented a fix so that ddd can be compiled on Mavericks.
This fix was suggested my Alex Hansen. I just changed it to become part of the already existing patch file.
Since Max Horn indicated he is no longer interested in maintaining the package, I volunteer to take over.

Don't have 10.9 to test, but the proposed patch doesn't affect 10.7. So commitable once tested on 10.9. akh?
