Further development and issues going forward will be via the FIJI Github repository
FIJI ForthIsh Java Interpreter has switched to an SVN repository.
Use the SVN button on the toolbar instead of the Code button to reach the live source code.
Andrew Holt of the UK has joined the development team for FIJI the ForthIsh Java Interpreter.
After a few years of not using FIJI myself I find it useful again in the scripting of testing for another of my projects, PigIron ( http://pigiron.sourceforge.net ). So I think this project is springing back to life.
Watch for FIJI-2!
Just released publicly FIJI 1.2 Beta. Docs are still far from perfect, and more technology may be inserted before we call this "1.2 final" but much has changed since the 1.1 release in 1999! Bugs were fixed, examples added, and FIJI now has a Swing GUI.
The docs still have a way to go; for instance, there are undocumented examples. We'll probably have a "gamma" release in a short time.
While the source in the CVS tree is at Fiji 1.2 beta level, we haven't yet prepared a full release of that code. So just to get started we have put up Fiji 1.1, originally release 1999-05-23. Enjoy!
