Another implementation that I wish, concern the ability to draw on an jpeg image (or other standard), a little bit like the grid function, but I need that the drawing can be saved on the image.
My request born because I need a simple method to draw on planimetric maps, who I've captured in jpeg; but I think that it is a function that could be also useful in other ways.

I've used such function in Autocad for the same reason. Now I would like to have it in FidocadJ as to be able to have an editable copy of schematic or a PCB in a quick way, to me isn't important to save the image in the Fifocadj file, In Autocad any image can be loaded as background of the window on which you are drawing, you can draw on it (on the screen) and you save the editable version of the image, not the image.
If necessary you can load both the new file and the image

I've some personal projects waiting for FidocadJ has this fantastic option

I've used Autocad loading raster imaseg for this purpose and I know what I'm saying
