There's an open bug report about ffmpeg-php not correctly detecting gd
in some cases. I haven't as yet been able to reproduce this with my
setup. If you want, you can test to see if ffmpeg-php is not detecting
gd correctly by putting...
#define HAVE_LIBGD20
... after all of the #include lines at the top of ffmpeg_frame.c and
then recompiling.
If the detection is screwed up then you should end up with a version
of ffmpeg-php that has the gd stuff included and working, otherwise,
youl'll end up with a version that has gd functions, but they won't
function correctly when called.
Let me know how it turns out as this could help me debug the gd detection s=
tuff.
