When adding .m4b audiobooks that are larger than 70 hours, I get the error:
1 file(s) could not be parsed (Duration = 0 or N/A)

Then when I try to convert the 'Trying selected preset' goes into infinite loop.

But I am able to convert directly using ffmpeg in the cmd line without any errors.

My cmd is correct as I am able to convert smaller audiobooks of around 10 to 30 hours:
-c:a libopus -b:a 16k -vbr on -compression_level 10 -ac 1 -strict -2

Hi, have you tried disabling the "Try preset" checkbox?
It could lead to this issues.

for the life of me I cannot figure out how to turn it off. I click on it, but it stays ticked?

Appears to be a bug, when I click 'Try preset', it stays ticked but its off when I close and open it again.

Apologize, I can't reproduce the issue. You can try starting a successful encoding so it is saved, or
go to settings and set to factory defaults.

On the other hand for unknown file types like this, you can try enabling at settings the "Quick queue file adding". It removes some constraints.
