#107 Program No Longer Opens For Me
I have had this happen with one other application, and I ended up just having to find a replacement software. I REALLY don't want to have to do this with FFMpeg Batch!
One day, suddenly and inexplicably, FFMpeg Batch just stopped opening. I tried Safe Mode, I tried a system restore, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the last three versions, I tried running from the zip file instead of the executable. It just will not run on my machine anymore no matter what I do. No error message, just...nothing. No idea why.
Please help!
I just wanted to update this ticket immediately. I tried one more thing right after submitting this ticket. Renaming the executable to FFBatch2.exe. For some reason, that worked. I assume some virus software of some sort has it blacklisted. I can't figure out how to whitelist it, but in the meantime, this workaround worked.
Wow, that's weird. I had never seen something like that, but the workaround was clever.
Sometimes in this registry key (regedit.exe)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\
if there is am FFbatch key, removing it may fix it.
