I can verify the the file is OK but ffmeg bactch will hang or just stop midway through converting a file. I have a AMD CPU with Radeon graphics. The converter time is set to auto. The output type is mp4 and the output directory is E:\ffmpeg.
I didn't have this problem with the pervious version.
BTW, what is the best set of options when using a AMD CPU with built in Radeon graphics?

I did what you said. ffpmgeg -version now prints
fmpeg version 6.0-essentials_build-www.gyan.dev Copyright (c) 2000-2023 the FFmpeg developers
I have and exe directory in my HOME directory where I put "uninstalled" exe files. This is kind of like have a .local/bin in Linux.
I will see how it goes. I am now testing FFmpegbatch against handbrake. Neither is very fast or seem to take advantage of the AMD Radeon feature. However, my AMD CPU has lots of cores to throw at converting many .mpg files to .mp4 files..
On another computer what has a GTX1080, I could get over 1000 fps. Both HandBrake an FFmpeg batch seem to struggle to get over 100 fps.

I tried again. I two files didn't convert and got errors and it hung up on a third file. Handbrake converted all the files no problem although it was about half as fast. I delete ffmpegbatch. I may try a later version.

I would switch to ffmpeg.exe 6.0, included in previous version. You can get it a gyan.dev (settings).
You can play with wizard to find your best quality/size encoder settings for you.
