New install on new server question

I have not actually set up this program for three years since I first installed it on my HTPC so I have forgotten if there is anything I need to do to turn on GPU encoding...or hardware accelerated encoding or what ever it is called or is that something that is automatically turned on when a capable GPU is available?

I just put a RTX 2060 in my new server that a friend gave me and I want to use it to it's full ability since this server is rather powerful and full of memory.

Me thinks I am old.....it's built into the preset, correct? This is the begining of all my HEVC presets:

-map 0 -c:v hevc_nvenc

So that selects GPU encoding, correct without having to change a setting in the actual program?

Hi, that's correct, it should auto-select a compatible gpu encoder.
