I have several "Presets" for various encoding desires. Is there a way I can assign them on a line-by-line basis to the items in the queue? For example, can I encode the first three items in the queue to high crf h.265 files and items 4 and 5 to low crf h.264 files? Or is my only solution at the moment to wait until the entire queue is processed using the current preset before starting another queue encoding to another preset?
Thanks!

I had hoped the Multiple Presets button would open up that possibility, but I understand.
Not everyone would be happy with such a change, either, as the way it is now there is no question what parameters are being used for every item in the queue because they are all using the current parameters listed. In Handbrake, I often have to highlight each item in the queue to confirm what settings are being used for each encode.

As you say, if I could get to implement something like that, it should be in such a way that it would be clear that default parameters are always used unless item specific parameters are added.
But application is already mature, and no donations are being received since a long time ago, so my resources are basically limited to quick features/fixes just not to let project die.

it is a nice idea, but not easy to implement. Maybe in the future.
