When starting up Fable it crashes to desktop and error reporting sends me to a site that says ffdshow is to blame. I tried searching for similar problems and found a Warcraft 3 cinematic crash, tried disabling DIVX5 per the instructions on that topic but now luck, any ideas?

In the configuration, "Info & Debug", add the fable executeable to the list of programs in "Don't use ffdshow for:".

I'm afraid I can't find that option, even in any of the other areas of the configuration...and I'm pretty sure I've got the latest version.
