#500 Adobe After Effects v6.5 Crash.
After downloading ffdshow, my after effects was
incapable of opening. A message appears saying that
after effects has crashed and will not open. After
sending an error report, microsoft refers to ffdshow
as the cause of the crash. Which has lead me to here.
Please let me know if there is a patch or fix for

p.s. Due to this fault I shall be unistalling ffdshow
as after affects is a more vital program. Although I
would very much like to have both.

I have heard of this issue myself from a few people. So I
installed After Effects (6.5 also being the version) myself
to see if it would work. The application started normally
and I could screw around with a few things without any
issues, I believe the problem to be conflicting codecs
installed.
