I've tried to capture 10bit YUV with ffdshow-tryouts (in VirtualDub), but when I switch my capture source format v210 color depth, ffdshow does not show up as valid compression codec anymore.
The codec I'd like to use is "FFv1", which does support 10bit, but it seems that ffdshow-tryouts does not register itself as being capable of encoding 10bit :(

That colorspace is not supported as input. None of the current ffdshow developers is interested in working on the encoding functionality.
