Hello all.

To answer Jonathan's question pertaining to the FCA202 - it work flawlessly on the initial boot up.     I started the JACK server, set the connections, launched guitarix and all was great.  I did have to readjust the settings since I was getting some repetitive distortion while recording on Audacity, however once I found the "sweet" spot it worked well (lowering the sample rate to 44000 and reducing the buffer size to 2)

That's great; thanks for letting us know.  For the sake of completeness, recent feedback on this list suggested that AV-Linux is also worth checking out and that at least in some cases its default configuration is better than Ubuntu Studio.  YMMV.

Out of interest, have you been able to get the FCA202 to work with Ubuntu Studio?  I ask because some reports from others recently suggest that at least on some systems the FCA202 does not work with jackd.
