Without seeing the error messages reported by jack it's impossible to say what the problem might be. I suspect it might be at least partly due to the use of the generic kernel (as opposed to a low latency kernel), but this is nothing more than a guess. Hopefully Ubuntu Studio will provide a solid starting point and require fewer adjustments to get it working. Regards jonathan |
