Hi, I would like to tell you that I achieve to use my alesis multimix 12 on kubuntu 10.04 LTS lucid (which is actually reported as "not supported" on the forum) I followed these steps: 1) uninstall ffado & jackd-firewire apt-get remove libffado2 jackd-firewire 2) Install ffado2 & jackd from sources (using http://subversion.ffado.org/wiki/InstallingFfadoFromSource ) requires the following files to resolve dependencies: libraw1394-11_2.0.5-2ubuntu1_i386.deb libraw1394-dev_2.0.5-2ubuntu1_i386.deb 3)add file /lib/udev/rules.d/50-raw-firewire.rules containing KERNEL=="raw1394",NAME="raw1394",GROUP="audio" 4)add your user to group audio: sudo adduser <username> audio 5)add raw1394 in /etc/modules (for autoload), the alesis card is not recognized at the
