Hey Phil, thanks for your detailed message. Unfortunately it didn't work. I think I collected all Dev Packages, but after running scons i get the message that Jack 1.x is not installed. I thought I have Jack 2 running? I tried to install scons anyway and now everything stoped working. Qjackctl /(firewire ERR: Incompatible libffado version! (libffado 2.1.9999-2260))/ . And if I try to start the Mixer the d-bus server can't be established. While I tried to find out where exactly the described Binaries and Libs are located I found some in every place you mentioned. Now I think there are two parallel versions running and the newer one isn't installed the right way. Any suggestions? Once again, thank you so much, I get the feeling that I have to spend a lot of time with Linux getting things to work than work with it, but I'm still quite optimistic!
