I got no xruns in a day-long session with mplayer playing an internet radio stream and timemachine recording to HDD. Perhaps you can install a 2.6.38.y kernel alongside your f14 kernel, e.g. from a package from here: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8 (I don't have Fedora myself, hence don't know the easiest route.) Having a current libraw1394 is a good idea too: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=628 Alas v2.0.7 didn't show up there yet. (Users of the older {ohci,ieeee,raw}1394 kernel drivers don't need to care about that; libraw1394 v1.3.0 or later is OK for them.) -- Stefan Richter -=====-==-== -=-- =--== http://arcgraph.de/sr/ |
