Hello all, Life is still good on this setup: * Kernel: 2.6.35-28-generic * libraw1394 2.0.7 * FFADO head (r1983) * Firewire LSI FW643E2 controller card * 2-channel out/in DICE based device Hardly any problems on all rates up to 96kHz. We're now trying to take it to the next level: running at rates up to 192kHz. Unfortunately this does not work at all: when starting JACK with FFADO * log shows streams could not be aligned * audible "chirps" occur regularly (although nothing is yet playing) * after 4-5 seconds FFADO gives up I have not yet scrutinized this and I could rebuild FFADO with DEBUG if necessary to show you any relevant logs; but before I go on, I was just wondering if anyone has ever managed to get FFADO running with a DICE (or any other) device at high samplerates (176.4 kHz & 192 kHz) and if there? If yes, any suggestions, do's/dont's? If no, who's the culprit and is there a construction site planned for this issue? Best regards, Rolf |
