[FFADO-user] Dealing with multiple FireWire controllers

Dear all,

The onboard JMicron FireWire controller of my HP DV7-1070ED notebook 
fails to work together with my Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 so I bought a 
cheap ExpressCard with a VIA VT6315 chipset. Plugged it in, hooked up my 
FireWire card but the Focusrite still refused to run. After unbinding 
the ohci1394 driver from the onboard controller the Focusrite starts up 
and runs ok afaics. Unbinding seems ok to me but I wondered if there are 
other options. I can't disable the controller in the BIOS by the way.
