1/ Alesis I/O 14 seems to be not supported by ffado (?) - http://www.ffado.org/?q=devicesupport/list

2/Before buying my interface Edirol fa 101 I read repeatedly that it was necessary to avoid some 
mark(brand) chipset firewire of which Ricoh, Via, that was recommended a chipset Texas instrument.. I 
thus have to buy a card(map) pci Belkin with chipset T.I. To see the mark(brand) of the chipset it 
is directly necessary to look on this one (at physical appearance)((at physics)) I do not know if 
that can help you? Good courage..
