I actually have an intense distrust of udev ever since an early buggy version caused me much grief many years ago by deleting and not reinstating critical device nodes. Consequently I generally don't enable it on my systems at present and therefore I'm not really in a position to help with its configuration. udev will make a reappearance on my systems when there's a real need for it, but up to now it's simply another complication I don't presently need to worry about. :-) Regards jonathan |
