Hello Luis, Not knowing your exact setup, it's hard to say. If I were you, I'd set up a small .htaccess in a test directory and make sure it is working for simple things. Note .htaccess may be fragile, and could be broken by saving it using the wrong character encoding (ie. Opening it and saving it in a text editor that has a different setting). Get yourself an editor that can check/change these settings and prove to yourself that apache is responding to the directives correctly. See here for some examples of what I'm suggesting: http://kb.mediatemple.net/questions/242/How+do+I+redirect+my+site+using+a+.htaccess+file%3F This may not be the cause, but if you start small and work your way up you will save a lot of time. -- Nathan Gibson -----Original Message----- From: Luis Zorita [mailto:lz...@pa...] Sent: Friday, 6 May 2011 22:08 To: fez...@li... Cc: Nathan Gibson Subject: Re: [Fez-users] redirecting Thanks Nathan: My problems concerns the .htaccess. I modified the apache directive: AllowOverride from None to All the accessfile name is ok: # use .htaccess files for overriding, AccessFileName .htaccess but it seems that directives in .htaccess are not considered, for instance: RewriteRule ^list/(.*)$ list.php?$1 [L,QSA] would enable redirecting from http://localhost/fez/community/changeme:1 to http://localhost/fez/list.php?community_pid=changeme:1 . I don´t find where modifying apache in order to get .htaccess working:-( Luis Zorita El 06/05/2011 1:43, Nathan Gibson escribió: > Hi Luis, > > I believe what you are referring to is the pibNamespace which is set > in the Fedora Commons fedora.fcfg file Which will be in a folder > something like: > <Some Base Path>/fedora/server/config/fedora.fcfg > > The two places that I believe this needs changing are: > > <param name="pidNamespace" value=""> > <param name="retainPIDs" value=""> > > See the Fez wiki for further instructions: > http://fez.library.uq.edu.au/wiki/Installation > > For a concrete example look at the page and scroll down to changeme > http://fez.library.uq.edu.au/wiki/Example_Install_Fez_SVN_trunk_%28Fed > or > a_2.2.4%29_on_Centos_5.4 > > After changing the values the URL will no longer contain changeme but > the new value you have entered. > If you want to actually change other parts of the URL it needs to be > done in the .htaccess file in the root directory. > > -- > Nathan Gibson > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Luis Zorita [mailto:lz...@pa...] > Sent: Friday, 6 May 2011 04:39 > To: fez...@li... > Subject: [Fez-users] redirecting > > Hi all: > I know in new versions (2.X) some redirectings are needed.
