Hello, gentle maintainer. This is a message from the Translation Project robot. A new PO Template file, for programs using the textual domain `fetchmail', has just been made available to language teams for translation, and a copy is available as: > http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/translation/domains/POT/fetchmail-6.3.6-rc4.pot The file should soon be made available in mirror sites as: > ftp://ftp.unex.es/pub/gnu-i18n/po/domains/POT/fetchmail-6.3.6-rc4.pot > http://translation.sf.net/domains/POT/fetchmail-6.3.6-rc4.pot In your releases, this file is usually found as `po/fetchmail.pot'. It is created or updated automatically at `make dist' time, or whenever you run `make update-po' in the `po/' subdirectory. Whenever you have a distribution ready which holds a newer PO Template, please send the URL of this distribution to the address below. The distribution could be a pretest or a snapshot, it does not even have to compile. This is to be used by translators, when they need to get some translation context from your sources. Within the Translation Project, each PO Template file should have different version numbers, but since it is not OK to have two different distributions having same version numbers, this is not a problem in practice. Here is the URL information which has just been provided to translators for your package. Please inform the translation coordinator, at the address given below, if the information does not appear to be adequate or current: > http://www.dt.e-technik.uni-dortmund.de/~ma/fetchmail/fetchmail-6.3.6-rc4.tar.bz2 Translated PO files will later be automatically e-mailed to you. Thanks for your collaboration, The Translation Project robot, in the name of your translation coordinator. mailto:tra...@ir... |

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Greetings, After several more bugs had to be fixed, I have uploaded the fourth fetchmail 6.3.6 release candidate to the usual download location: <http://home.pages.de/~mandree/fetchmail/> - the site also has rpms. It is very important that 6.3.6-rc4 gets as much testing as possible, so as to find incompatibilities between the fixes and your existing setups. Please report all such incompatibilities, else we can't fix them for 6.3.6, obviously, and it may be a long time before the release after this. WARNING: This message sets the Reply-To: header. When replying to me personally, you need to edit the To: header! Can those who use an mda and who have experienced fetchmail crashes after refused messages please test if these are gone? Thank you. Bug #9449, was updated on 2006-Nov-13 22:10 Here is a current snapshot of the bug. Project: Community Fetchmail Category: None Status: Open Resolution: None Bug Group: None Priority: 5 Submitted by: dgersic Assigned to : none Summary: Malformed headers causes segfault Details: This is probably the same as the other two, but maybe it'll help you find the problem. Your operating system: Linux (SuSE 9.2 Pro) dgersic@linux:~> uname -a Linux linux 2.6.8-24.25-smp #1 SMP Thu Aug 24 09:57:32 UTC 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Your compiler version, if you built from source; otherwise, the name and origin of the RPM or other binary package you installed. fetchmail-6.5.3-1.i486.rpm downloaded from http://fetchmail.berlios.de on 11 November 2006. It was installed via SuSE's YaST installer for RPMs. Also installed were fetchmailconf-6.3.5-1.i486.rpm, rsaref-2.0-507.i586.rpm (for fetchmail), and python-tk-2.3.4-3.1.i586.rpm and blt-2.4z-204.1.i586.rpm (for fetchmailconf). A copy of your POP or IMAP server's greeting line. fetchmail: POP3< +OK myrealbox.com NetMail POP3 Agent $Revision: 1.6 $ The name and version of the SMTP listener or MDA you are forwarding to. I've configured Fetchmail to call Procmail directly, but I don't think that applies here. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Greetings, I have uploaded a new fetchmail 6.3.6 release candidate to the usual download location: <http://home.pages.de/~mandree/fetchmail/> WARNING: This message sets the Reply-To: header. When replying to me personally, you need to edit the To: header! Important changes in fetchmail 6.3.6-rc2 since 6.3.5: # SECURITY FIX (INCOMPATIBLE): * Using at least one of the options "sslproto 'tls1'", "sslfingerprint" or "sslcertck" enforces STARTTLS for POP3 and IMAP and terminates the connection if unsuccessful. The same configuration causes permanent connection failure with POP2 unless --ssl is used. fetchmail 6.3.5 and older had no way to enforce TLS. With those older versions, TLS was always opportunistic, but fetchmail would happily transmit the password in cleartext if STARTTLS failed. --ssl --sslcertck configurations however have been safe. Reported by and fixed in cooperation with Isaac Wilcox. # BUG FIXES: * Repair --logfile, broken in 6.3.5. BerliOS Bug #9059, reported by Brian Harring. Hello, gentle maintainer. This is a message from the Translation Project robot. A revised PO file, for programs using the textual domain `fetchmail', has been submitted by the team of translators taking care of the Russian language. This particular file, along with all other PO files pertaining to the same textual domain, is available as: > http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/translation/maint/fetchmail/ru.po The file should soon be made available in mirror sites as: > ftp://ftp.unex.es/pub/gnu-i18n/po/maint/fetchmail/ru.po > http://translation.sf.net/maint/fetchmail/ru.po This file has already been sent to you separately on 2006-11-11, as a MIME invoice unpacking the file `fetchmail-6.3.6-rc1.ru.po'. The following HTML page should also be updated by tomorrow. > http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/translation/HTML/domain-fetchmail.html Please consider including all PO files, as they stand, in the `po/' subdirectory of your next release of programs using that textual domain, whether it is official or pretest. Whenever you have a distribution ready which holds a newer PO Template, please send the URL of this distribution to the address below. The distribution could be a pretest or a snapshot, it does not even have to compile. This is to be used by translators, when they need to get some translation context from your sources. Within the Translation Project, each PO Template file should have different version numbers, but since it is not OK to have two different distributions using same version numbers, this is not a problem in practice. Contact me if any question arises. Thanks for your collaboration, The Translation Project robot, in the name of your translation coordinator. mailto:tra...@ir... |

This particular file, along with all other PO files pertaining to the same textual domain, is available as: > http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/translation/maint/fetchmail/ja.po The file should soon be made available in mirror sites as: > ftp://ftp.unex.es/pub/gnu-i18n/po/maint/fetchmail/ja.po > http://translation.sf.net/maint/fetchmail/ja.po This file has already been sent to you separately on 2006-10-13, as a MIME invoice unpacking the file `fetchmail-6.3.5.ja.po'. |
