Hi, you can draw regions only on dot plots and density plots. Those regions are then used to define gates. Gates can be used to filter events, also in histograms. That gate for filtering can be set under the menu point "Plot - Format Plot/Overlay" and in the gate list at the right side of the menu bar.
However, I have not yet implemented the possibility to make regions directly in histograms. So it is not possible to make a region marker in histograms to define gates.
