Maybe you can add highlight feature like Bold Italic.
When user clicked those text which are bold or italic, the coresponding bold or italic button will be highlight.

Based upon the plugins from SNOOPY-0815 and Thomas Goerldt I made some improvements on my Abbr-plugin.
It's now possible not only to add an abbr-tag, but also edit and remove it.
Furthermore, it's working not only in IE 7, but also IE6 (and Gecko of course).
Suggestions for more improvements are welcome!

Huge plugin,
Need <acronym>-tag also to add and edit!
In Firefox 3 it works suberb!
But I can't get it to work in IE, neither 6 or 7. it completly forgets to put in an ABBR tag.
Anyone any solutions?
