#844 FCEUX not responding to keyboard commands

Hi,

I am currently running FCEUX 2.2.3 on a Windows 10 64-bit Surface. I recently tried to run an NES game, but FCEUX did not respond to any keyboard commands for me to start a game.

I have confirmed my keyboard works fine elsewhere. However, FCEUX used to respond to the keyboard commands and was working fine (default keyboard keys set in FCEUX). I have not made any changes to my computer except for running my computer in tablet mode a couple times which I then switched back to desktop mode before running FCEUX.

Any ideas why FCEUX no longer seems to respond to any of my keyboard inputs? I have tried a few games with the exact same unresponsiveness to my keyboard.

Please let me know if you need additional information.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi, this is the original ticket creator. Yes, I have rebooted a couple times and it is still a no-go. I also reinstalled FCEUX and still had no success.

Is there anything else that might be causing this to happen? Thanks!

your cfg file got messed up somehow. delete fceux.cfg so the defaults will get used

Yeah, I tried deleting the fceux.cfg and reloading it, but the keyboard input still isn't working.

Then you have either knowingly or unknowningly installed conflicting hotkey manager software or keylogging malware, or made your system keyboard drivers get broken. Try DISABLING or REMOVING your system keyboard drivers (which may have installed or activated themselves when you changed between computer modes)
