I would love to see xBR and/or xBRZ scaling added to FCEUX, in 2-4x modes if possible.
Below are links to related projects/articles which have implemented it or describe it.

Kind regards.
It seems this algorithm works best with antialiased lines and stuff like SNES graphics. Not so sure about NES. But anyway, if someone ports it for FCEUX, the patches are welcome.
Thank you for the consideration. For those who like scalers such as 2xsai and hq3x, I think this is a great improvement even on NES sprites. To help motivate someone with expertise, here's a few comparisons of FCEUX hq3x and RetroArch/quicknes/5xBR-4.0-NoBlend (scaled to 3x for comparison. pardon the palette differences).

I'd love to see this as well. Code for the scaler can be found here:

What OS are you using?
Windows 10
Why are you using FCEUX if you want fancy scalers? There are other emulators for gamers with fancy scalers.
To my knowledge there is no NES emulator that offers this particular image scaler. FCEUX is probably the best NES emulator out there today.
As I'm introducing my daughters to classics from my youth, it helps if the games look nicer.
This scaler is perfect for low resolution, pixelated games such as NES games.
retroarch does.
fceux is the wrong emulator to ask for frontend features like that, anyway
many people think many other scalers, including none at all, are perfect for low resolution pixelated games such as NES games.
