I've got a VMware ESXi server that has Opteron CPUs.
When I try to install FAN 2.1 from the ISO, I get a kernel panic that seems to be related to a known but rare bug in CentOS.
See: https://access.redhat.com/kb/docs/DOC-38013
Would it be possible to rebuild an image using a newer kernel?
Thanks,
Peter
PS.
- I'm installing version 2.0 now, that seems to work fine.
- Will try the upgrade procedure later
Hi,
FAN 2.1 is base on Centos 5.6 and use 2.6.18-238.5.1.el5
Normaly, it's not this bug.
