Good afternoon everyone! I decided to write this short text to publicly thank Dudi Goldenberg for his help with the Fail2Ban solution on Linux CentOS 8. I am making a point of doing this, because before trying to help in an external community, I visited several forums right here in Brazil and nobody was willing to help. Nobody even bothered to answer the questions sent. When I decided to post in a community outside the country, Dudi Goldenberg answered all the questions, and, being unable to continue with the help via email, he made a point of continuing to help me through Facebook Messenger. Even though I know I have a lot of difficulties with English and I depend on an online translator to communicate, I still had patience and advised me until I could solve all the questions. If the Brazilian citizen was so attentive to his neighbor, this gentleman went with me, perhaps Brazil would be a better country. Sincerely, Henrique Fagundes ---- Ativado Qua, 19 fev 2020 13:49:57 -0300 Patrick Shanahan <pa...@op...> escreveu ---- > * Aldo Necci <ne...@in...> [02-19-20 11:08]: > > The right rule is: > > > > action = %(action_mw)s > > > > You have to modify "action = action_mw" with "action = %(action_mw)s" > > and include it inside every jail you would like to notice by email. > > > > or invoke it as a default action in jail.local so it will report all ban > actions. > > ** much quoted mat'l removed ** > is it really that difficult to show some consideration. > > sorry for personal reply, was meant for the list. > -- > (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri > http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri > Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode > > > _______________________________________________ > Fail2ban-users mailing list > Fai...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fail2ban-users > |
