[Fail2ban-users] banaction vs action

Hello, beginner quetsion

I was looking at [DEFAULT] section in jail.conf and see "banaction"
and I tried to override "banaction" in one of my custom jails. It worked 
great. 

Then I saw other examples use "action" in jail configuration, so I
don't understand different between "banaction" and "action" (in
context of jail config) is it the same things? Can someone point
to docs or explain to me?
