FWIW -- few more issues were addressed one of which required a change in the core way on how shutdown is done (now communication with server gets stopped first before jails get removed), so more testing would be awesome... if no problems unraveled -- I hope to kick out a fresh release within a week -- so you better get test/fix f2b now than after the release ;-) minimalistic roadmap for the next (after upcoming) release would be * take care about suggested patch to be able to run fail2ban as unprivileged user, see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=602016 so if you are keen on this idea -- give it a shout * choose/finalize one way or another IPv6 support (see previous discussions on the list) * if time allows address more of outstanding reports filed within Debian Cheers!
