Well, after 4 or 5 months of dormancy, the project is now in front of me again. I want to compile a list of desirable features in a core mudlib, so if anyone has any wishes, submit them to the open discussion board. I intend to spend the next week doubled over in a small crevice typing away madly at my keyboard, so hopefully their will be something new to see by then.
The project got off to a smooth start with relatively few glitches as we made the transition to SourceForge. Other than a few mistakes by me, everything is as it should be. We are now beginning work on a parser, starting with the specifications and information on interaction with other objects. Also in the works is a website with documentation and information about the project. Please be patient with us as we get this project off the ground. Look forward to a tentative first copy of the parser on July 20, 2001. Thank you for your interest.
This release is mainly just for reading over and getting oriented with the ugly duckling of a mudlib that we have so far. But hopefully soon it will become the elegant goose we're hoping for. ;) Join the team, get the CVS source tree. See what it's all about.
