#39 FaceAPI 3.2.6 not running on latest V200

Hi,

Having no luck with FaceAPI 3.2.6.

I'm running the latest version of TrackNOIR and have the latest plugin pack installed as well.

Tried uninstalling and progressively reinstalling v200 through 204a of the plugins packs, uninstalling IPP via add/remove programs etc.

I'm not able to get FaceAPI started via TrackNOIR nor via the FTNoIR_FaceAPI_EXE.exe , at least with the EXE its showing error code -13, image attached.

OS - Windows 10

Not sure what else I can provide to assist with this, please let me know.

What kind of webcam do you have?
The most common problems (and workarounds) are mentioned on the faceAPI page of the website.

The -13 error is often caused by a faulty codec.

Hi there, thanks for the quick response, and thank you for referring me to the docs. I see now that my issue is not uncommon, which is a relief. I'm actually using DroidCam to interface my android device to my PC as an IP cam (not the most efficient use case, I know), but I've ordered a C922 which should be here in a few days. Will give it a go once I get the webcam. Was just worried I had compatibility issues or botched the setup somehow. I have used the android app you guys have released, just a bit inconvenient using my main phone for it at the moment, but will see how it goes.
