Hi Andy,

I noticed that thumbnail creation is very very slow on videos that are playing in Mediaportal (or any other player) at the moment ezthumb is run. It's that much slower (>15 minutes vs 10 seconds) that I think it can't be explained by increased stress on the harddisk.

  Thanks for your testing.
  
  This problem happened in Win32 version because it opened the video
  file in default (non-sharing) mode. Once the file had been open by
  others, i.e the media player, ezthumb failed to get the proper size so
  it would enter the full scan mode, which took a terribly long time.
  
  It's been fixed and released in 3.0.4.
