Is there a possibility to get the Expect source code for Windows, Expect version 5.40 ?
Expect is a library in ActiveState and can be used in TCL projects

But the reference you supplied refers to Expect library version 5.43 where I asked to get the Expect library 5.40
I have an application complied with TCL and Expect 5.40 which works fine for my needs.
I have the Expect 5.40 dll file, and nowadays my requirement have change and I need to modify the Expect 5.40 source code.
When I compiled my application with Expect 5.43 it caused several issues that I was not able to overcome.
Hence, I need the source code for Expect 5.40
