Hi all, Sorry for my late response but I was out for the week end. In fact, it should be great to talk live but I think that it will be impossible as I am currently in Sydney (which makes a big time difference with london and NY). I would be pleased to help. Unfortunately, I am pretty new on Sourceforge. How can I be helpful fastly? Cheers, Bruno 2008/3/2, Darren <daz...@gm...>: > > I can make that. Hello everyone, Darren and I had a nice discussion today on the development of EXPE. We have decided to build EXPE on top of Eclipse's Rich Client Platform instead of Java Swing. The overall goals of the project have not changed, but the tools used to reach the goals are slightly re-aligned. I've updated the Web page to reflect this change. The next meeting is on Tuesday 4:00pm Eastern time (9:00pm London time). Hope to see you guys online. -huahai |

Darren, I think everyone is on the list. Talking in real time sounds like an excellent idea. If everyone is willing to do that, we can coordinate and find a time for such a meeting. My time zone is at New York. What about you guys? I see there are another two developers on the list, I've CC'd them in case they aren't on the list yet. I think we would make more progress if we could all talk in real time (MSN, IRC, etc) but I am quite willing to continue the conversation on the list if that is easier for everyone. Hi Darren, Excellent. Thank you for your offer and welcome on board. I have indeed thought about specific tasks that some assistance would be of immediate help. At this initial stage, I think the first priority is to have an initial defition of CEDL, CETT and CERP schema working so we can work on improving them since other parts of the project depend on them. I will of course be reponsible for the main part of it, but it would be helpful if someone could set up JAXB2 xjc ant task to map XML instances to Java classes so we can start working on other parts. I was using a maven plugin to do that but found maven to be too restrictive to use JPF archetecture, so I abandaned maven for ant. I have added you to the developer group. Please subscribe to expe-develop mailing list at https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/expe-develop. Thanks. I am looking forward to working with you on EXPE. -huahai On Thursday 28 February 2008 7:39:40 am you wrote: > Message body follows: > > After seeing the post in Help Wanted and after reading > though your projects pages I would like to offer to join > your project. > > I do have a few years experience with Java, slightly less > with Swing itself. > > I am currently working on a commercial CRM project. > > I would like to know if you had thought of specific tasks > that you would like assistance with at this early stage? > > I look forward to discussing the project with you in greater > depth, > > Darren > > -- > This message has been sent to you, a registered SourceForge.net user, > by another site user, through the SourceForge.net site.
