#16 permission problems in noarch RPM installation

I obtained exmh-2.6.3-1.noarch.rpm from SourceForge and
installed (as root) on my Mandrake 9.1 system using
'rpm -Uvh' (was previously using exmh-2.6.2-mdk).
There was a warning ( user 'slipcon' not found, using
'root'. ) /usr/lib/exmh-2.6.3 was installed, but all
regular files in this directory were installed with
mode 600. When I tried to start exmh, the command
failed with the following message:

Error in startup script: invalid command name "Env_Init"
while executing
"Env_Init"
(file "/usr/bin/exmh" line 101)

Once the files in /usr/lib/exmh-2.6.3 were given mode
644, exmh started without complaints and seems to run
fine.
